FEET ON THE GROUND

…Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.  Matthew 28:19, 20.

Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.  Psalm 23: 4.

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
Ephesians 5:8.

And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them. Leviticus 20:2.

I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.  Psalm 116:9
Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.   Ecclesiastes 11:9
Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.  John 12:35
I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.  3 John 1:4
So keep your feet on the ground.

Heart in Heaven

Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.  Psalm 62:10

In the house of the righteous is much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble.  Proverbs 15:6

And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.  Isaiah 33:6

…Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Matthew 6:19, 20, 21

Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.  Matthew 19:21
Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.  Mark 10:21
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.  Luke 12:34

So keep your heart (your affections) in Heaven.

Eyes on Jesus

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.  Psalm 5:3

Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.  Psalm 123:2
Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.  Micah 7:7

…Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.  Hebrews 12:2

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.  Hebrews 9:28
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.  Jude 1:21

So look for Jesus.

Look for the mercy of God revealed in Christ Jesus.

Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

(…so says the Lord God Almighty) Isaiah 45:22
